Without a solid design process, you have a lower chance of creating a product with good user experience. A well-defined and well-executed UX process, on the other hand, makes it possible to craft amazing experiences for users.
Onectus applies design thinking to product design, we are following a UX process with the following five phases:
Product definition - we interview you on your business idea, and make a value proposition map where we identify together how to match business needs as well as understanding "what it is" and "who will use it". The process will follow with a early mockups that will be presented.
Research - good research informs design decisions and investing in research early in the process can save a lot of time and money down the road, we invest in research to identify design niches that can be created or innovated. Part of the process includes the work with different users groups to understand their needs.
Analysis - The aim of the analysis phase is to draw insights from data collected during the research phase, moving from “what” users want/think/need to “why” they want/think/need it. This process includes 1) Creating user personas, fictional users that represent the actual users groups. 2) Creating Users stories, a description about the user interactions with the product from user's point of view (For example: As a {user} I want to {goal to achieve} so that {motivation}.”). 3) Storyboarding, a story about a user interacting with your product
Design first version, validate with customer, reiterate if needed. The process includes - Sketching, Creating wireframes & prototypes, Design specification, Design systems creation.
Final validation - we make quality assurance and pitch the final result to your board.
Let's build something great together!
