Privacy Policy

How Onectus Technologies handles personal information when you visit our website, enquire about our services or contact our team.

Last updated:

1. Who is responsible for your data?

Onectus Technologies LLC (“Onectus”, “we” or “us”) is responsible for personal data processed through this corporate website. This notice concerns the Onectus website and its business enquiries, not the separate privacy practices of products or companies featured in our portfolio.

For questions, privacy requests or objections, use the privacy request form below. Please include enough information for us to locate the correspondence you are asking about.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the details you choose to provide, including your name, business email, company, message, service interest, preferred contact method and, where supplied, your phone, Telegram handle, project roles, team size and intended timeline.

We also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, including page requests, browser information, security events and anti-abuse signals. The contact form records its source page and consent acknowledgement; rate limiting uses a keyed representation of the connecting IP rather than storing the raw address in the enquiry record.

A language preference may be stored in your browser. If you access a protected administration area, our application hosting/authentication provider may use session-related technologies. Please do not send sensitive personal data through a general business enquiry.

3. Why we process it and our legal grounds

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand potential engineering projects, arrange discussions and take steps you request before a possible contract. Depending on the request, this is necessary for pre-contractual measures (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in business communications (Article 6(1)(f)).

We process security and diagnostic information to protect the website and prevent spam or unauthorized access on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)); we may also retain certain records where required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).

The contact-form acknowledgement confirms that you have read this notice. It is not consent to marketing emails. Enquiry receipts and responses are transactional, and submitting a form does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list.

4. Service providers and recipients

We use third-party application infrastructure for website delivery, restricted-access data storage and authentication; Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect automated form submissions; and Loops to deliver transactional enquiry notifications and acknowledgements. These services may receive data needed to perform their functions. With the appropriate opt-in, our analytics and experience-measurement providers may also process page interaction data; CookieScript manages the associated choices once configured.

Authorized Onectus personnel may access enquiries for business follow-up. We may disclose relevant data to professional advisers or authorities if legally necessary. We do not sell enquiry data.

Links to external services—including Telegram, Clutch, partner sites and publications—take you to third parties operating under their own privacy notices.

5. International processing

Onectus and its providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where EU/EEA transfer rules apply, we rely on appropriate legal transfer arrangements, such as an adequacy decision or applicable contractual safeguards, as required for the particular processing. You may ask us for information about relevant safeguards.

6. How long we keep information

We generally aim to retain ordinary business-enquiry records for no longer than two years after our last substantive correspondence, unless an active relationship, dispute, legal duty or necessary business record requires longer. Technical security logs, session information and data held by service providers may have different retention periods.

You may ask us to delete or review your enquiry earlier where applicable law permits. Retention is assessed in context rather than automatically extending every record indefinitely.

7. Your data protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data; correction; deletion; restriction; portability; or object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where consent is our legal basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Use the privacy request form below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing private records. If you are in the EEA, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority, including the authority in your country of residence, work or the alleged infringement.

8. Cookies and device storage

The website uses essential storage for functionality, language preferences, authentication and security. Optional analytics and media technologies are subject to applicable cookie choices. See our Cookie Policy for details.

9. Security and automated decisions

We use access restrictions, server-side form validation, security checks and reasonable organizational safeguards appropriate for business enquiries. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We do not use the corporate contact form to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

10. Updates and contact

We may revise this notice to reflect changes in website features, service providers or legal requirements. A new date will appear at the top of this page when it changes.

For privacy questions, use the secure privacy request form below.
